Easy Alphabet Sugar Cookies

This is the first week of virtual kindergarten for my oldest daughter! It isn't exactly how we imagined her starting school, but I am so thankful for all of the quality family time we've had together and the memories we've made (and are still making!) during the last six months. Since my husband and I work full-time, she has been in daycare since she was an infant. I am not lying when I say that I am cherishing this time at home with her.

She requested her favorite sugar cookies "with just a little icing" for her back-to-school treat. We had so much fun making these and she loved putting the letters on the cookies!

I used mini circle cookie cutters to make the cookies the perfect size for these adorable Wilton Letters & Numbers Edible Icing Decorations that we placed on top of a little icing puff that I piped with an open star tip.

I am praying for a great school year for my little one and all the kids out there starting back to school! It really is scary times, but we are making the best of it! I know we all have so much on our plates right now. During these very uncertain times, it helps tremendously to continue celebrating life and finding joy in making special moments every day. Have a great week!

Tag me on instagram if you make these, I would love to see your creations!
